JTS Construction is one of a handfull of general contractors pre-approved by the State of California to work on historical recreation or renovation projects.
Over the course of two years JTS Construction recreated the African American homestead town originally built in the 1910's which is now Allensworth State Historical Park.
These projects involved renovating six existing buildings built in the 70's as replicas, re-building the last two
remaining buildings from the 1910's and recreating eight homes, three barns, and numerous outbuildings to 1914-1918 original plans.
JTS Construction has also performed renovation work on private projects such as renovating the Niles Theater in downtown Bakersfield into the Niles Bar and Grill.
