Prison Projects
Due to JTS Construction's experience and quality workmanship on active prison projects we are always requested by individuals in the State's Construction Services Branch to participate on future prison projects. JTS Construction has performed two seismic upgrade projects at CCI prison in Tehachapi, two seismic upgrade projects at Soledad Prison including one project in the active infirmary and a kitchen renovation at North Kern State Prison in Delano. Much of this work is done with our in house labor which provides JTS Construction with a highly experienced active prison construction team. All of these projects also required that JTS Construction perform work under extreme security and tight scheduling and in order to do that we had to come up with out of the ordinary construction techniques. With JTS Construction's experience on these projects we know that there is not a project anywhere that JTS Construction cannot perform to the satisfaction of the owner.
School Modernizations
JTS Construction has over 15 years experience improving school facilities in Kern County and throughout the Central Valley. We have extensive experience in elementary, middle, and high school modernizations and have recently completed projects for the Kern High School District, Bakersfield City School District, Taft Union School District, Wasco Union High School District, among many others. In addition to modernizations, JTS Construction has completed many remodels and additions at colleges and universities such as Porterville College, CSU Bakersfield, and CSU San Marcos.
